These detectors can notify a lamp user of High Levels of UVB present in a closed environment or examination room. A very inexpensive alternative for protection of eyesight other than purchasing a UVB Meter that can run from $400.00 to $1,200 in current marketplace. You can just wall mount them in an exam room so as to test your dermatological lamp or reptile light/s in a darkened environment.
